Course Description

The most crucial thing for a Christian leader is a commitment to personal transformation by means of a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ. In Spiritual Disciplines and Self-Care of a Leader, learn the theory and practice of engaging in key disciplines for the purpose of spiritual transformation and conformity to the image of Christ. Examine how biblical figures engaged in humble self-reflection, resulting in repentance before their holy God, and how time spent with God in prayer and scripture-reading enabled them to act in faith, amid tremendous trials. Discover how the skill of lectio Divina - contemplative Bible reading – is a path to greater faith in an all-mighty, all-powerful, and sovereign Lord. Recognize the significant connection between your own spiritual self-care and effective leadership.
