Course Description
In a culture viewing the idea of “sin” as antiquated, conveying the bad news of a humanity hopelessly condemned before a just and holy God, can be challenging, even if it is followed up with the good news of hope in Jesus Christ. In Preaching Evangelistic Messages you will learn the skills of crafting sermons that connect the timeless truths of the gospel with contemporary listeners, through the use of illustrations, applications, and invitations. You will also learn techniques of speaking and delivery, and most crucially how prayer is essential to the entire process, from constructing your sermon outline to the appeal to faith in Christ that follows your delivery.
